On December 14, 2013, Lanna Cafe, Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade, Women’s Education for Advancement and Empowerment and Wongwian, members of the Northern Thailand Fair Trade Network and are working towards poverty alleviation organized a 1-day Christmas event. The collective activity was intended to benefit their local partners, the economically disadvantaged hill tribe and refugee women men and communities of artisans in the rural areas of Northern Thailand.
