Twenty-one (21) WEAVE staff attended the team building activity on Sept. 21-25, 2009 at several locations and establishments in Rayong and Bangkok. These include Sea View Resort , Koh Samed, Grand Palace, Bangkok’s Ratchada City Hotel and Dream World.
At Koh Samed, the staff had a fun-filled team-building-activity which was facilitated by the agent of the travel tour. Rubber band relay, bottle relay, and statue dance were among the funny and exciting games made. One of the most exciting activities also was the banana boat riding where the “riders” experienced the banana boat turned upside down in a far, deep and cold part of the sea. Stories and anecdotes spread around after the “fall” illustrating both the funny and scary moments of the ride. At night, the staff held a program with lots of delicious food and overflowing drinks.
The Grand Palace was another place to behold. With all the magnificent designs and artistry of the palaces, the staff were overwhelmed at its majestic beauty and grandeur.
It was in Dream World that the “child-like” characters of the staff were partly manifested. Everybody took the opportunity to take most of the exciting rides. Even Aunty Nancy and Aunty Hseng weren’t able to resist the urge of moving around the compound together with the other staff.
The trip made the staff reinvigorated and bonded together. The primary aim of the activity was certainly achieved. The staff can’t thank the management enough for the opportunity provided to them!
